This car is in fantastic condition for its year , having only covered 125000 miles in its lifetime, I have owned the car for the last 13 years and have only done 4800 miles in that time, in 2007 I had it MOTd and 60 miles later I put it into storage , the idea was to keep it as a classic, unfortunately I had to remove it from its container storage 6 months ago and put it out on my drive, thats when the problems began, we are a 5 vehicle family and I am getting a constant ear bashing from you know who about boys and their toys, also as can be seen in the pics, some little toe- rag has swiped the ofside front windscreen trim these are £56 from BMW , the drivers door electric window requires two new nylon rollers fitted to the lifting frame, these are in the glove box along with fitting instructions ,if I have time at the week- end and weather permitting I will fit them, appart from exhaust tailpipe crome trims could do with replaicing and a new battery, when I put it into the container I did not disconnect the battery and with the onboard computer and the imobeliser sytem still running the brand new battery that I had fitted has died, I do run the car twice a week with a jump start from my London Taxi (now you know why the low milage) , all 5 tyres are excellent the four fitted were new for the 2007 MOT so they have only covered 60 miles, the car is finished in Calypso Porto Red and is as good as in pictures, the interior is silver grey leather in perfect condition as are the carpets,the first aid kit under passenger seat still has the Makers rapping on it, and the rechargable torch in the glove box still works, the toolkit in the boot is complete and I have all three keys, I have set a sensible low reserve price, the person who gets this car needs to throw about £200 at it and 5hours TLC and they will have one of the best Model BMWs ever made.
The car is listed as 4 owners but one of these was the dealer,the car had a personal No plate before I had the car, this was the first owner and I am given to beleive he is now Sir — — (sportsman).
